Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups of Organic Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
  • 1/4 cup of Organic Golden Cane Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground all spince
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup molasses
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. Sift flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, ginger, allspice, and salt into a bowl. Cream coconut oil, molasses, and organic sugar in a bowl with an electric mixer; add vanilla extract. Stir in flour mixture; mix until a sticky dough forms, about 2 minutes. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill for 2 hours.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 F° (175 °C). Roll out dough on a floured surface to 1/4 to 1/2-inch thickness. Dip cookie cutter in flour, cut out cookies, or roll a little ball and press them with a cookie press, and place on 2 prepared baking sheets.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven until lightly golden, 8 to 10 minutes.
