Snickerdoodles Cookies

Notes:

  • Flour used in this recipe : Organic Unbleached White Pastry Flour
  • For a new taste, you can also use : Organic Unbleached White Khorasan Flour

Ingredients

  • 2 ¾ cup of Organic Unbleached White Pastry Flour
  • 1 ½ cup of Organic Golden Cane Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of butter softened
  • 2 eggs

CINNAMON SUGAR COATING :

  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon (or more to taste)

Preparation

  1. Place the oven grill in the center of the oven. Preheat to 350°F. Place parchment paper on 1 or 2 cookie sheets.
  2. Mix together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt together. Set aside.
  3. Cream together the sugar and butter. Add the eggs and blend well.
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix well.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon. Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  6. Place the dough balls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
