1/2 cup (125 ml) homemade or store-bought applesauce
Preparation
Place the rack in the middle of the oven and preheat to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, combine the Oat Flakes, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon.
In another bowl, beat the egg. Add remaining moist ingredients.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until completely homogeneous.
Use a proportioning spoon to divide the dough into 10 patties and space them slightly apart. Leave in round balls or crush with fingers moistened with water to make flat patties.
Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before serving. Alternatively, let cool completely before transferring to an airtight container.
