Ingredients

  • 2 cups (500 ml) Organic Chickpeas (garbanzo)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) Organic Whole Spelt Flour
  • 1 white onion, in pieces
  • 2 garlic cloves, in slices
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) parsley
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) coriander
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of tahini
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. Cook and drain the chickpeas.
  2. In a food processor, blend all the ingredients until the texture is homogeneous.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a bowl.
  4. Form 8 patties with your hands.
  5. In a large nonstick skillet, cook the patties over medium heat for 10 minutes on each side.
