Light Falafel

  • Product used in this recipe : Organic Chickpeas (garbanzo)
  • For a new taste, you can also use : Organic Chickpeas (garbanzo)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of Organic Chickpeas (garbanzo)
  • 1/4 cup of Organic Whole Spelt Flour
  • 1 white onion in pieces
  • 2 garlic cloves in slices
  • 2 tablespoons of parsley
  • 2 tablespoons of coriander
  • 1 tablespoon of tahini
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • salt and pepper to your liking

Preparation

  1. Cook and drain chickpeas.
  2. In a food processor, mix the ingredients till the texture is smooth.
  3. Transfer the mix in a bowl.
  4. Make 8 patties with your hands.
  5. In a large non stick pan, grill the patties at medium heat for 10 minutes on each side.
