Salted cake with mushrooms and cheddar

  • Organic Sifted Wheat Pastry Flour
  • For a new taste, you can also use : Organic Sifted Wheat #50 Bread Flour


  • 2 cups of Organic Sifted Wheat Pastry Flour
  • 227g (1 punnet) of mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 cup of old cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 pinches of nutmeg


  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (356 F).
  2. Wash the mushrooms under cold water and wipe gently. Dice mushrooms and sauté them in a little oil with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, break the eggs and whisk them. Add the flour, melted butter, grated cheese and mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper and add the nutmeg.
  4. Butter a bread pan and pour the dough. Bake and cook for 45 minutes (or until the tip of a knife comes out dry).
