Easy recipe of homemade khorasan sugar cookies

Notes:

Product used in this recipe: Organic unbleached white khorasan flour.

For a different flavour, you can also use: Organic unbleached white all-purpose flour

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix the Khorasan flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  • In another bowl, beat the softened butter with the cane sugar until light and creamy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet mixture until a smooth dough forms. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Shape dough balls, about a tablespoon each, and roll them in cane sugar.
  • Place the dough balls on the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Optional: Break and sprinkle candy canes over the cookies.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges of the cookies are golden.
