The position
As a forklift operator, you’ll be responsible for receiving and shipping trucks, preparing customer orders, and preparing shipping documentation.
This position is based in St-Germain.
Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
- Prepare orders following vouchers;
- Load merchandise onto trucks and secure for transport;
- Check inventories and report any variances;
- Prepare electronic shipping documents for shipments;
- Review incoming material ensuring accuracy, correspondence and condition, and update receiving records;
- Improve organization of goods movement and storage;
- Work as a team with various company departments to improve asset management methods;
- Perform work safely in accordance with applicable codes, standards and La Milanaise’s health and safety program;
- Proactively provide updates regarding any shipping issues or delays to the Coordinator;
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of warehouse and storage areas;
- Any other related duties.
