Notes:

  • Organic Tipo 00 flour is the perfect flour for focaccia. Its wheat composition and extraction process make the dough much more extensible.
  • Product used in this recipe: Organic Tipo ʺ00ʺ Pizza Flour
  • To vary this recipe, you can also use: Organic All Purpose Unbleached White Flour.

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, add the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, salt, yeast). Mix with a fork. Add water. Mix with a wooden spoon. Knead the dough for 2 minutes until the dough becomes smooth.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of olive oil in the bottom of a 9 "x 13" baking dish. Spread the dough with your fingers in order to cover the bottom of the dish. Cover with plastic wrap. Let the dough raise for 30 minutes.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of olive oil to the dough after it has rested. Well spread the oil over the dough, turn it over to insert the oil under the dough. Press down with your fingertips to let the oil penetrate the dough. Crush the 2 garlic cloves and spread them with your fingers on the dough.
  4. Add the vegetables for decoration, let your imagination run wild. Let the dough raise again for 30 minutes, taking care to cover it well with plastic wrap. Bake 30 minutes at 400°F (200°C)
