Ingredients

  • 2 cups (500 ml) Organic Chickpeas (garbanzo)
  • 1 cup (250 ml) tahini (sesame butter)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) cumin
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) paprika
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. Cook the chickpeas following the instructions on the bag.
  2. Process all ingredients in a food processor until an easy-to-spread mixture is obtained. If mixture is too thick, add some water
  3. Garnish to taste, and serve with crudités or use as a sandwich filling.
