Caramel Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup of Organic Popcorn
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 11/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salted butter
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C)
  2. Pour the oil and corn kernels into a large saucepan. Cover and pop over medium heat while stirring the pan. Set aside.
  3. In another saucepan, heat the maple syrup to 115°C.
  4. Add the butter, brown sugar and vanilla to the syrup and stir.
  5. Pour syrup over popcorn and toss to coat well.
  6. Spread the popcorn on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool. Serve!
