Caramel popcorn

Super quick caramel popcorn

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) Organic Popcorn
  • 3 tablespoons (45 ml) vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cup (375 ml) maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) salted butter
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) brown sugar

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Pour the oil and corn kernels into a large saucepan. Cover and pop over medium heat while stirring the pan. Set aside.
  3. In another saucepan, heat the maple syrup to 240°F (115°C).
  4. Add the butter, brown sugar and vanilla to the syrup, and stir.
  5. Pour syrup over popcorn, and toss to coat well.
  6. Spread the popcorn on a parchment-lined baking sheet, and bake for 10 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven, and let cool. Serve and enjoy!
