  2. Line a baking sheet with a quarter sheet of parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  3. In a bowl, combine all ingredients (except for the egg for glazing).
  4. Mix until the dough has formed.
  5. Transfer the dough to a slightly floured surface.
  6. Roll the dough to lightly coat it with flour and form a ball.
  7. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces.
  8. Roll each piece into a smaller ball and shape into bagels.
  9. Transfer the bagels on the prepared baking sheet.
  10. Brush the bagels with egg wash and sprinkle generously with a topping of your choice (e.g., bagel seasoning, poppy seeds, cinnamon, etc.).
  11. Bake for 40 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
  12. Let them cool on a cooling rack.
