Salted cake with mushrooms and cheddar

Ingredients

  • 227g (1 punnet) of mushrooms

  • 1 tablespoon of oil

  • 1 cup of old cheddar cheese, grated

  • 1/2 cup of melted butter

  • 3 eggs

  • salt and pepper

  • 2 pinches of nutmeg

The recipe

  • Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (356 F).

  • Wash the mushrooms under cold water and wipe gently. Dice mushrooms and sauté them in a little oil with salt and pepper.

  • In a bowl, break the eggs and whisk them. Add the flour, melted butter, grated cheese and mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper and add the nutmeg.

  • Butter a bread pan and pour the dough. Bake and cook for 45 minutes (or until the tip of a knife comes out dry).
