Ingredients

1 1/2 cups of Organic Barley Flakes

1/2 of Organic Whole Oat Flour

1/2 of Organic Pumpkin Seeds

1/2 cup of hemp seeds

1/2 cup dried dates, coarsely chopped

3 teaspoons of chai spice (see below)

1/4 teaspoon of salt

BLEND OF CHAI SPICES

2 teaspoons of cinnamon

2 teaspoons of ginger
-
1 teaspoon of all spice
-
1/2 teaspoon of cardamom
-
1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon of clove

DRY MIX
-
1 can of white beans, rinsed and drained
-
3/4 cup of unsweetened apple compote
-
3/4 cup of natural peanut butter
-
1/2 cup of maple syrup

1 tablespoon of vanilla
The recipe
Place the rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 350 ° F. Grease the contours of a 9 "square baking pan and cover the bottom with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, combine all the spices. Mix well to remove lumps. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients in the dry mix. Set aside.
In a food processor, smooth all ingredients of the wet mixture. Add the dry ingredients in one go, and then pulse a few times just to combine.
Pour the mixture into the pan, level the surface well with a spatula, garnish with some pumpkin seeds and cook for 25-30 minutes in the oven.
Let it cool for 5 minutes before unmolding and transfer to a rack. Cool completely. Cut into 16 bars, then store in an airtight container.
