Buckwheat smoothie with berries

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 ml) of Organic Cream of Buckwheat

  • 1 cup (250 ml) fresh or frozen blueberries, raspberries or strawberries

  • 1 apple cored

  • ½ tsp. (2.5 ml) vanilla

  • 1 tbsp. (15 ml) honey or maple syrup (to taste)

  • ½ cup (125 ml) milk or other liquid (almond milk, oat milk, coconut water…)

The recipe

  • Blend all ingredients into a smooth purée. Taste, and adjust sweetness.

  • Transfer into two bowls.

  • To finish, top with a few berries and almonds, or a few buckwheat flakes for a bit of added crunch!
