The recipe

  • Preheat oven to 350F.

  • Line a quarter sheet baking pan with parchment paper or baking silicone mat.

  • Gather all ingredients in a bowl. (except egg wash)

  • Mix until dough comes together.

  • Transfer dough onto a lightly floured surface.

  • Roll dough around to coat lightly with flour and form a log.

  • Divide the log into 4 even pieces.

  • Roll each piece into smaller logs and form into bagels.

  • Arrange bagels on prepared baking sheet.

  • Brush bagels with egg wash a sprinkle liberally with a choice of topping (like bagel seasoning, poppy seeds, cinnamon, etc.)

  • Bake for 40 minutes at 350F.

  • Cool on a cooling rack.
