The organic rye flakes are made with organic rye kernels flattened through rollers and flaked. You can also add them to your cookies, granola, muffins or bread for a taste of novelty.

To cook organic rye flakes, simmer 1 portion of the rye flakes gently in 2 portions of cold water for 12-15 minutes. Let stand about one minute.
The shelf life of flakes is about 180 to 270 days. Store your flakes in a hermetic container in a dark and cool place.
