Organic creams of cereals

Organic buckwheat cream is made of organic black buckwheat. Rich in fiber, organic cream of buckwheat is perfect for lunches or desserts like crumbles. Cream of Buckwheat also offers an excellent source of satiety because it contains 10 to 12% of its protein weight. Naturally without gluten, it is rich in fagopyritols, an antioxidant that has been proven to play a role in decreasing blood glucose concentrations.

The black buckwheat plant loves rainy summers but not too hot as its flowers abort as soon as it is 30°C. It enjoys acidic and lean soils. It grows quickly and is usually used as a green fertilizer.  Highly appreciated by bees, 1 hectare of buckwheat in bloom can harvest no less than 150 kg of honey.

  • The Organic cream of buckwheat is ideal for : Cookies, Muffins and Waffles.

  • Available formats : 500g

  • Bring 430 ml (1 3/4 cups) water to a boil. Add 80 ml (1/3 cup) organic cream of buckwheat and reduce heat. Simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.

  • The shelf life of Organic Cream of Buckwheat is about 270 à 350 days. Store your it in a hermetic container in a dark and cool place.
